my LiveBIG Experience on Day 1

I shared with you my frame of mind and how fatigued I was at my arrival to the LiveBIG Conference in Sandy, Utah in this post.  I am not sure that this post truly conveys how emotionally down and physically drained I was.  I was thoroughly exhausted.  Completely.

I arrived at the conference and got my name badge.  I hung back against the wall, waiting for the event to begin. I was quiet, reflecting on how the trip had gone so far, I was praying "Dear God, please be with me today, I need you now, running the lyrics to that theme song sung by Plumb in my mind, hoping desperately for relief, trying to calm the anxiety I felt in anticipation of the time that I thoroughly expected to be life changing for me."

When the doors to the conference room opened, the music that was playing was the song with the lyrics:  This is your life, are you who you want to be?  Each of the LiveBIG Crew were at the door to give us a high five.  Gerald Rogers was standing back against the wall, watching us come in.  We began shortly after we got seated.

Gerald explained the general idea of the conference and what we could anticipate getting out of it.  Our first exercise was for us to define:  What does it mean to LiveBIG?  What do you want to experience?  What are you willing to do to make that happen?  Are you willing to let go of what's limiting you?

Here is what I wrote:
I want to live big with working through my childhood to share my story to inspire others through love and courage.  I want to feel that I am good enough. I want to find my passion and live it out as I do in my core beliefs of generosity and friendships.
We then had to connect with like partners (girls with girls & guys with guys), Partner A and Partner B.  We all had to get up and go find someone.  The first day, everyone pretty much connected with someone sitting near them.  Gerald would walk us through who went first and we would begin by grabbing each others hands, looking in to their eyes and say:  "The Greatness I see in You..." until we were told to stop.  In this session, I connected with Mary, Michelle, Bonnie and Nancy.

This was an amazing experience!!!  To connect with someone and stand about a foot away from them, look into their eyes, deeply, and tell them what you saw about them, was incredible. I wrote down a few things I was told from these four people about the greatness that they saw in me:
You are a connector.
You are more than you give yourself credit for.
You are very passionate.
You have energy.
You are very engaging.
You are dynamic.
You are already doing great things but you doubt yourself.

I was blown away!!!  How could these people know these things about me?  Simply by looking into my eyes?  It was an amazing experience.  Lots of us were crying.  You couldn't help it.  The way someone saw deep into your soul was truly something that was hard to put into words.  This experience was felt by the majority of all people.

They then introduced the LiveBIG Team. Each of them shared why they were apart of the event and what they wanted us to get out of it.  Phenomenal!!!

The core message was:
"You get to be who you are, truly are, by forgetting about who you were told you were...and experience full love and greatness."
Tony Litster explained the rules to us and made sure that we all were willing to play a Level 10 and commit at 100% and actively engage as participants.

Gerald then took over and started into the message of the conference.  After sharing some things on commitment, integrity, results, and trust he asked:
"Why do we have difficulty in saying No?"
He was hitting on a sore subject of mine and I had answers at the tip of my tongue, but I waited.  The room was silent.  So I launched in and answered the question.  Gerald told us to engage, so here I go!
"Because we are afraid that if we don't say no we will be a failure, we won't be good enough, we won't meet someones expectations."
Awwwhhhhhh. He paused and looked at me and then asked me another question, to which I answered.  He then asked me to stand up, and I did so.  One of the team got me a mic and he asked me even more questions.  After I answered those, he asked if I was willing to open up and work through this process on my beliefs.  I nodded and said "Yes", inside I wanted to say "Hell Yes, this is why I came!"    He asked me to close my eyes.  I did.

He then asked me some questions, probing a bit deeper each time.  He was calm.  Gentle. Patient.  But firm when he went to the next question, building on each question as a stepping stone to the next.  If I didn't thoroughly answer the question, he would probe in a different way, forcing me to answer.  The questions he asked, delved into my personal life, and not just on the surface.  He asked me to remember the very first instance when I felt I wasn't good enough and to share it.  As much as I could.  That's tough.  I have so many memories of feeling that way.  The first one?  I shared what came to mind, being a young child in elementary school 1st or 2nd grade and for whatever reason my sister and I left the house late for school.  Mom told us not to run as if we did we would lose our milk money and she would spank us.  She also said that if we were late to school she would spank us for that too.  It was a no win situation, as usual, it always was.  Either way I was in trouble.  We knew we could not risk being late to school or the consequences of having a teacher mad at us all day wouldn't work. We also knew the crossing guard did not stay at the corner late.  We knew we had to run.  The inevitable is exactly what happened.  We lost our milk money.  We had to call her and she came up to the school and spanked both of us in the bathroom, with the famous telephone cord because it made the least amount of noise and stung like hell.

I was really crying now.  My eyes were still closed.  I was here by being a participant, giving more than I anticipated from the very start of the event and yet My Story was the object lesson being used in the teaching for all of us.  It was hard to forget that I was in a room full of people whom I didn't know, and to just pretend I was alone, working through these questions being asked of me by Gerald as he asked me to do.  You then heard sniffles from people.  You heard crying.  You heard noses being blowed.  This didn't make it easier on me.  I wasn't there to make people cry.  It was hard to concentrate and answer his questions without just sobbing over the feelings this brought back to me and the flood of memories.  Would it always be like this?  It was hard to know what was the right answer to some of his questions.  It was hard to engage and keep my eyes closed when I wanted to be taking notes to reflect on the questions he was asking me for later, for other memories.  He asked me questions, some which I couldn't answer except in a vague way, but I did the best I could without feeling like I was consuming the entire opportunity.  For example, I stated that I faced some significant trauma at age 17 as we moved through further years.  I didn't elaborate.  I couldn't say more.  Fortunately, he didn't probe deeper that time.

He asked me to see yourself as you wish your Mom saw you.  Imagine and gather all the hurts and pains in your arms and give them back to your Mom.  Let GO.  Realize your Mom couldn't love you beyond what she gave you. Be empowered to believe you are good enough.  You are loved.  You no longer have to live to be approved of, accepted, strive to be loved.  You are accepted and loved.  {These are the nuggets I wrote down the best I could from memory.}

Some of this process I had already done with Professional Counseling and with my Life Plan Coaching last year, but some of this was from a different angle, much deeper.

So much for wearing waterproof mascara. I had it all over my cheeks.  My friend Jay told me later that I looked like the KISS Band, of course, not having TV and knowing actors, singers and stuff I had to tell him I didn't know who that was.  He actually thought it was cool that I didn't.  My buddy, Brandee, pulled them up on her phone and I then understood why he said that.  They had white mask faces with lots of black outlining.  I am a deeply pale white chic and with the streaky mascara, I am sure I looked like that group.

I sat down, wiping my face, blowing my nose, not looking at anyone, trying to gain composure when he asked me to come up front.  My face still streaked with tears, he turned me around to face the audience, he was now standing behind me, he took my arms and had me lift them up so they were even with my shoulders outwards like I was getting ready to jump out of a plane.  He told me to look everyone of my LiveBIG Tribe sitting in the audience, in the eyes and receive their love.  He told me to not hold back.  To accept it.  He said he knew it would be hard, but to realize that I have great courage, that I am strong, that I am loved.  I was still crying but by looking at people who truly had empathy for you, whose eyes conveyed their feelings, they were proud of me, they were clapping, I couldn't help but smile.  He told me to not lose my smile, it was a beautiful smile that showed life and love.  He shared some more thoughts with me standing there with everyone, then gave me a hug and I sat down.

If I wasn't emotionally spent before this, I was now!!!

The nuggets that I got out of this exercise were:
  1. Release all the hurt, pain, being a failure, disapproved of, striving to be good enough back to my Mom.
  2. Accept that these things have shaped me and created me who I am today.
  3. Believe I AM GOOD ENOUGH!
  4. I no longer have to live to be approved of, to be accepted to strive to be loved.  I am!!!
  5. Open your arms and be empowered.
We wrapped up the morning session with the challenge to ask someone over lunch what it means to LiveBIG.  We were told if we did a video of it we would get bonus points.

I immediately heard, "If I don't get a video I am not good enough."  This was a perfect example of how I live this out, every single day.  The belief system that is conjured up inside my core being.

I was so emotionally spent that all I did was head back to my hotel and flop on my bed.  I should have gotten food, but I couldn't.  I didn't want to eat.  I wanted to sleep, but there was not enough time to sleep.

When we got back from our lunch break, we went through discussing qualities of a buddy, picking a buddy and then getting to know our buddy.  Things like this:

My name is...
Some things you should know about my family are...
My business is...
Some things I do for fun are...
Some things I really hate to do...
If I could travel anywhere...
If I had a free weekend I would...
What it means to me to live big...
An area in my life I struggle with...
The reasons....
The greatest fear...
The way you can support me...
Because I am committed to getting the most out of...
etc... {I wrote them down as quickly as I could but I know I am missing a ton of them}

My buddy was Brandee.  She and I shared lots of things in common with our childhood and we connected quickly.

In the exercise when we did to make a list of what are My Stories from Life, People, Relationships, etc - this is what I wrote:
  • I'm not good enough.
  • I don't deserve to be treated differently.
  • I can't say No.
  • I don't want to be just like my Mom.
  • I don't believe I am awesome.
  • I can't take care of me or I am selfish.
  • I feel I will always be a failure.
  • I feel I have to be perfect.
  • I believe its okay for me to be abused and I should just take it and I probably just deserve it.
  • I don't deserve a man.
  • I feel I always have to prove myself.
  • I feel you will never accept me.
This exercise helped to learn to become conscious of your words, your feelings, your thoughts, your actions.  Why do I feel what I am feeling?  What will that give me?  What do I want?  Is it true?  What is the action to create what I want?

In the exercise we did to make a list of what is not working in your life - this is what I wrote:
  • work life balance
  • taking care of me
  • figuring out what my passion is
  • living out I Am Good Enough
Bri Litster talked about abuse and trauma, she even shared some of her own personal story.  She reviewed just how emotions are tied to our trauma, how emotions are supposed to teach us, how we need to be willing to go through the pain to get to the joy.  The steps required for us to do this are:
  • Stop.
  • Feel it.
  • Listen.
  • Release it.
  • Make a choice.
  • Let it GO.

I learned in Day 1 of LiveBIG that I need to look at My Story and ask, is it possible?  does it serve you?  is it an impossible game?  I have a choice to believe the truth or lies.  I can't avoid the negative experiences or trauma I have faced, they are real.  {Unfortunately, I know this, even though I have wished it was a dream, I am aware that I have truly experienced this.} Stuff that happened to me in the past will continue to show up.  {Darn, I was hoping that it would go away!}  If we do not examine it, we will self sabotage.  {I didn't realize I do this, but I learned I do this too!}  The goal is to learn how to process it. {Yes, this is why I am here...to learn how to process my junk.}

At one point during a break, I connected with another gal that had my same name, spelled exactly the same way...we became friends quickly.  She was amazed that I wasn't married.  She was amazed that I didn't have a boyfriend.  She was amazed and wanted to know more.  I told her we would talk later.  And we got several small chats in.

Tony took us through an exercise where we were to go to a safe place and explore our beliefs.  In this we learned that our beliefs are our shadow.  Face the shadows.  They are always with us. The shadow is you.  Bring the shadow out to the light.  When the shadow makes noise its because the wounds are unresolved.  Welcome your shadow as a guest.  Don't carry the old stuff anymore.

Who are you?  Change your story.  Develop a vision.  Reinforce it until it becomes who you are.

We got a dinner break and I went and got a Chipotle bowl.  I forced myself to eat almost half of it, but my stomach hurt.  I was nauseated.  I was emotionally drained from the day and it wasn't over yet.  My heart wanted to head out early and crawl in bed.  But my mind said I needed to stay committed to the conference and learn all I could.

We then did a Soul Script Personality Test to learn more about who we are.  I love personality tests and I learned some different things through this version...some from doing it as a group.

The last exercise we did in the evening was to lay on the floor on our backs, the lights were very dimmed, music was yoga type, to get us into meditation mode.  The exercise was to help us find who we are.  Who are you?  We were to come up with 3 words that described us to the core.  Once we obtained those three words, we were to state:  I am those three words man/woman and keep repeating it over and over and over, getting stronger and louder as we did so.  My three words were courageous, generous, loving...so I am a courageous, generous, loving woman.  The staff would come get us and lead us to the center when they felt we had achieved the results where we should be with the affirmation statement of who we were.  They had us place one hand on one person's shoulder and the other hand on another persons shoulder all the while leaving our eyes closed and continuing to chant.  It was an incredible experience.

I took away from this that we need to know who we are even when the outside noise becomes so loud that it is hard to still remember and know.  You have to be strong and know who you are.  Because you will reflect who you belief you are in your inner self.

Before I left for the day, I had a conversation with Tony.  We discussed how you improve without feeling the need to prove.  He shared with me how he feels those are two different things and should never be confused as being related.  You always want to improve because without growth, you won't bear fruit, you won't be productive, you won't change.  I also had a conversation with Gerald in which he shared how grateful he was that I came all the way from Texas, was open and willing to sharing with the group, and that I truly am amazing.

Did I feel amazing?  Of course not.  But I am a courageous, generous, loving woman who is learning to rewrite her story!

Day 1 of LiveBIG was an incredible experience!!!  I encourage you to #LiveBIG...

Thank You gift from Susie & Carly

I got a call from a delivery company wanting to confirm when they could deliver a package.  I wouldn't be being honest if I didn't tell you that initially, my antennae went up like a red alert.  Who was sending me a package?  Might seem like a stupid concern on your end, but after having just traveled out of state and met a bunch of new people, my comfort zone was a little concerned.

A delivery??? Hmmmmm.....who sent me a gift???

A Thank You gift...

THNX ALOT Sprinkles Cupcakes

Thank You Note from the two chics I "rescued" at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport...

Awwwhhhhh!!!

I am crying...this truly was a sweet gesture on their part, though totally not necessary.  Regardless, I am blessed because I blessed them in a time of need Sunday Night at the DFW Airport. Wow!!!  Who wouldn't want friends like this?  Who wouldn't stop and help sweet gals like this?  I did and I would regardless if they sent me cupcakes!

how I met my Coach

I was asked, how did you meet your Transformational Leader Elite Business Breakthrough Coach?

So I will share my story.

Some of you may or may not have heard of Gerald Rogers.  After almost 16 years of marriage, he became divorced and the night following this event becoming final in his life, he wrote a post on Facebook called "Marriage Advice I Wish I Would Have Had".  He wrote 20 things to encourage people to be an EPIC Lover and be 100% responsible for your marriage.  The post went "viral" (as the term is).

I am not sure who introduced me to him in my news feed on Facebook.  We shared one mutual friend, Patty Farmer and she may have been the person who liked or shared something he posted.  However I also have a few other friends who follow him and so it may have been one of them.  I didn't pay that close attention.  I only know the timeframe was August during my vacation to Franklin, TN and I have followed him since.  Maybe if I went back and looked at posts around that time frame I might figure it out.

On New Years Day, I was feeling sick still with the sinus infection I was dealing with, wanting to relax and chill...so I started a fire and then got my laptop and was glancing through Facebook when I saw Gerald Rogers post that he was going a free coaching call and what the code was to participate on the call.  I was like, hmmmmmmm, most things free are a bunch of crap, but what have I got to lose?  I will check it out and if its not for me, I can hang up.  It was to be a 2 hour Coaching Call.  I only got the first hour in because that is when my neighbor behind me decided to come over and check on the house because he thought it was too warm to have a fire going in the fireplace.  :)

It was during this coaching call that I learned about the LiveBIG Event coming up and submitted my email address to set up a 30 minute coaching call to see if I was a fit for his 90 Day Mastery Coaching Program following the LiveBIG Event.  It was a plan as of the 6th of January, I reserved a hotel on points, and exchanged my airline ticket for the conference I had planned to attend in October 2013 located in Cincinnati that got canceled last minute for this trip.

Last year I worked through learning that I feel "Not Good Enough".  One of my goals this year was to figure out how to correct that feeling in the daily things that flow through my heart and mind and break those patterns.  I have had things I want to change in my life and have felt stuck trying to do so.  This is exactly what LiveBIG does and what I needed!  I still find it absolutely AMAZING how God plants things in your life and his timing just when you need something the most.  Blows me away!!!

Tomorrow begins my 90 Days of Coaching with Gerald Rogers.  I will keep you posted on how it goes!

travels home from LiveBIG in SLC

I traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah Airport with my new friend Melanie after we did a Never Ever Ski Lesson and had lunch at the Park City Ski Resort.  We arrived with plenty of time to spare, no rushing to get through security and to our gates.  She was trying to get out on standby on an earlier flight and I just was hoping to get home without the travel issues I had coming out.

We hugged each other goodbye, hoping that our gates would be close enough together that we could hang out some more, but realizing that it might not and we needed to say goodbye sooner than we wanted.  Sure enough that didn't happen.  I considered walking to her gate, 4 terminals away since I had 2 hours until my flight was to leave, but since she was wanting to fly standby, that didn't seem to make much sense.

I sat and just looked out the airport window for some time gazing at the mountains, reflecting on my time, wanting to sleep but afraid that if I really did, I would sleep so hard that I would not hear when my flight was ready to leave.  After some time, I knew I needed to get my hands busy or get some caffeine.  Caffeine is not something I do much of and so I opted to knit instead.

The flight was running about 15 minutes late and before long we were off for a 2 hour flight back to Dallas Fort Worth Airport.  I landed.  Got my bag.  Headed out to catch the bus to the North Remote Parking  Lot to get my car.  I usually park at the South Remote Parking Lot, but traffic was bad on the drive in and I had changed my route which put me at the other end of the airport.

As I got off the bus and walked through the building out the back to the parking lot and through the isle, I saw this cute chic walking with her car opener up, glancing around trying to find her car.  She had the look like "I can't believe I can't find this!  I am not going to cry, I might as well laugh, but this is just crazy!  Why did I get myself into this mess?  Where is it?"  I smiled at her.  She smiled back and kept walking.

I was parked at the far end against the fence.  It was really cold.  I got my bag into my car and backed out, thinking about how in an hour, after my drive home, I would finally be sleeping in my own bed!!! The thought of my own pillow, my own down comforter snuggled up around my neck was heaven!  I could not wait to be sleeping in my own bed!!!
I went down a different isle and there was that chic again.  I decided to stop, rolled down my window and said to her "Would you like to ride with me and I will take you around to find your car?  It is pretty cold out."  She initially said, "Its got to be around here somewhere, I just can't find it.  You are kind, but I will I don't want to bother you."  I was like "You look like you have been walking around for awhile, you sure?"  She then said, "Would you mind?"  I said, "Absolutely not!  Why would I ask you if I minded?  Hop in."  She did.  She kept saying over and over and over, I can't believe you would do this.  I can't believe you would help a complete stranger.  I can't believe you are being so kind.  I am so sorry to put you out.  I can't find my car.  How can this be so hard?  I parked close.

Her sister was walking around too, but she had a gigantic suitcase, the size of half of my Honda Civic trunk!  I told her to wait at the curb and we would be back with the car.  We toured the entire remote parking lot.  Lots of White Lexus', but no correct White Lexus anywhere.  I finally said, did you park in the North Remote Parking or the South Remote Parking?  She asked me where we were.  I ignored the question and asked which one did you park in trying to see if she would remember?  She said the one where there is all the construction.  I laughed and said both ends have construction going on.  I then told her that this was the North Remote Parking Lot and she probably parked in the South Remote Parking Lot.  She said, "No way."  I said lets go check.  She said no, just let us take the bus.  I said "No, that makes no sense.  It will be 10-15 minutes before the bus gets back and then it is going to make its rounds between all the terminals and you won't get to the South Remote Parking Lot for at least another 30 minutes, if even that quickly.  I am going to take you there."

We went and picked up her sister.  I moved my suitcase to the back seat so that both of theirs could fit in the trunk.  As we were loading up, she said to me, "Here you are helping us and I don't even know your name!"  I laughed and told them, "It's Misty."  They introduced themselves to me.  Susie was the chic I had seen walking.  Carly was her sister.

We chatted during the drive.  They asked where I had just gotten back from (and I got a chance to tell them about my LiveBIG Conference), where I lived, what I did for work.  I asked them the same questions.  Both girls, Susie and Carly, were sweet, very sweet.  Both furniture sales representatives coming back from a week long event and show in Las Vegas.  They live in Dallas.

As we pulled into the South Remote Parking Lot gates, they insisted I could not go through and pay again.  They were just going to walk through with their luggage.  Susie had already gotten out.  I said, "Well, what if your car isn't in there?"  She said, "Oh, it has to be."  I said okay, "Do you have a cell phone with you so you can let me know either way that you find your car, because I am going to wait here for you.  Just in case you can't find your car in here?"  She replied, "Yah, we do but they're both dead."  I looked at them and laughed and I said, "Not a chance.  You get your butt back in my car, I am not going to stand for that."  She argued, "You have already taken so much time, we will be fine."  And the planner in me said, "And what will you do if you don't find your car, or the battery is dead or it won't start?"  I said, "I will have none of that, get in the car with me."  As we pulled through the remote parking gate, the sign let us know that the fee for 2 hours was $1.00.  I told her to get over it, $1.00 would not break me!!!  We laughed.

We pulled in, got our ticket, went down the first lane that was going the direction that we could go and guess what, 3 places in was her car!!!  They were so happy!!!!!!  We unloaded, she insisted on giving me a $1.00 to get out and we said goodbye.  I waited until they got in and their car started and drove off.  As I was pulling out, the agent didn't make me pay because I was in the lot less than 10 minutes.  Sweet!!!  They pulled up just as I was leaving and I told them so.  We laughed and she told me to get a drink with my $1.00.

As I drove off, I had this grateful feeling in my heart.  A simple smile had me connect with Susie.  A simple inquiry if I could help made her realize I could and that she needed the help.  A simple encounter and I met some really sweet gals.

I hope I find them on Facebook!

15 minutes down the freeway and we were at a deadstop due to construction...for about 15 minutes.  What if I had just hurried out of the airport trying to rush home to get to my cozy bed and pillow and not helped her?  I would have had to sit my butt in traffic and wait anyways and I would have regretted not assisting this chic.

I love the way when you focus on LivingBIG what shows up in your world.  I absolutely love being an encourager and generous!

My Journal Nuggets from Day 3 of LiveBIG

Gerald Rogers
You do certain things through mastery and a recipe to get you engaged with your body, heart pumping, blood flowing.

5 Components to a Power Hour

1.  Exercise & Energize
One step at a time to achieve the change you want in your life and to obtain mastery with where you are, a little stronger each day.

2.  Gratitude
Breath Deep.  Gratitude is the key to happiness.  List what you are grateful for.  Allow the sense of gratitude to flow through you.  List things that you are thankful for outward now.  Deep breath in.

3.  Connect with God
You are not alone.  God wants you to succeed.  He wants to give you everything you want.  You just have to ask for it.

Help me to: learn, overcome, give me the strength and courage, to say, to do, to work, have a vision, to stay true, to grow, be authentic, open, to serve, to love, remember the truth, have the power, stand, be bold, be an example, be a friend or lover, help me to heal, be courageous, lead me, help me be humble, etc.

Feel the infinite divine connection with being a Son/Daughter of God.

4.  Affirmations
Remind myself of things I know.  Achieve and choose success. Breath in.  Breath out.  Focus on your breath.

Breath Out:  Frustrations, fears, doubt, worry, limits, challenges that stop me, the lies, the negative thoughts.

Breath In:  love, power, hope, trust, energy, strength, peace, joy, calm, courage.  Stand clear and strong.  Lead with vision and power.
I am a source of...
I am confident and powerful...
My love...
Everyday I seek to grow and be a communicator and learner.  God bless me so that I can bless others.  I have one life to live and I chose to LiveBIG!

Create new neuropathways through recorded affirmations to reinforce these.

5.  Reconnect with Your Vision and Direction You are headed
What are your dreams?  Who do you want to become?  Imagine that you already have them.  Allow your mind to experience them. The excitement, gratitude, what to do.  See yourself as that person.  You will see 1 or 2 things today...take cation to where you want to be.  Feel it as it is already yours.  See the opportunity it makes you have, feel, be, do.  Look at what you need to do to create that abundance in your life.  See yourself taking these actions.  Experience what it is to live like this.  This is who you are!!!  This is the decision you need to make to live today.  This is reality.  This is who you are.

Exercise:
The greatness I see in you...

Gerald Rogers
Have a purposeful living.  There will be unlimited excuses to keep you from living your choice.  Its your choice.  Use these tools on purpose.  IT will create more power and energy.  Are you worth it?  Live on purpose.  How do you live that?

Anthony Fowler
Align your conscious beliefs with your conscious desires.  Fight with your conscious and unconscious parts of your brain.  comfort Zones aren't very comfortable but they are familiar.

What do you want?  What's holding you back?  Figure out the lies you have believed your whole life. Delete the file.  Just like everything else you begin to do the things to achieve these goals.

Diagram of a Familiar Zone

We are all seeking meaning.  Create meaning.  We have events that make our story which creates meaning and our B.S. (Behavior Systems aka Bull Shit).

If you want to be good at something you must SUCK at it first.  Most of us don't want to suck.  We then ask questions?  Our grain is trained to answer our questions.  If you ask crappy questions you get crappy answers.

By Age 8 we now become self aware.  What matches with what doesn't match.  The moment a belief is formed, the scale tips.  You have a small delay in your brain.  When you experience fear or excitement, the feelings are the same, except the meaning you give it.  It's a choice.  You can assign a new meaning.  Two ways to do this:  Repetition or Intensity.  Disbelief triggers continue to be validated.  When you boil any energy down it is light.  Find the belief where it started.  Punch through your filter to change your belief. You will find a lot of them.  You can only achieve and attend to one at a time.

Your neuropaths are frayed wires with splits going different ways.   When you clear the pathways, they disconnect.  Then you can never go there again.  Psychi is mind energy.  Your body is one giant cohesive unit.

Gerald Rogers
Every story in my life is divine to orchestrate the things God has for me in my life.  Live more fully and be the person you were created to be.  All the things that have happened in your life are for a reason.

You are great...
You are amazing...
You are inspiring...

Feed yourself who you are.  It's your choice to be that leader.  To be that friend.  I honor and respect who you are. I give you permission to be in your junk.

You attract the energy vibrations that you are, you want, you desire.

I don't need to be around those people who want to take me down.  Release them.  Block them.  Focus on what you want to create.

Surround yourself with like minded people.  Build your tribe.

Soul Purpose:
Our purpose is something we chose.  It also chooses us.  Everyday there are clues.  I chose to live my purpose today.  When you are living on purpose you have clarity of mind.  When you live your purpose it all comes naturally.  It's way more fulfilling.  IT takes energy but it also energizes.  One form of work puts out but one takes in and out.

Questions to ask:
What are the clues around you?
Where do you spend your time?
What do you enjoy (InJoy) doing?
What are my talents?
What are you excited about?
What is the feedback you are getting?
What advice do people ask me for?
What is giving you resistance?
What are the challenges that I have faced?
What do I want to learn about?
What do I get intrigued by?
What do I like to educate myself on?
What is your internal resistance?
What are your/the distraction preventing you?
What gives you enthusiasm?
What do you want to serve?
Would you do this if you didn't get paid?
What are the problems I want to solve?
Are you willing to learn?

I am willing to do the work but I want God to direct me.  Start walking down the path.  Anything you try to do that you have never done before will create fear.  Test the fear.  Test the feelings.  Listen to the nudges.  It isn't easy.  We signed up for the path of greatest growth and fun.  What causes you to grow?  On this path of learning?

Entheuo = Living In & With God

It's defined by what brings me JOY and how I can SERVE others...and let's you grow/create growth.  When in alignment with this you are living your soul purpose.

Exercise:
What are the clues to if I am living my life purpose?

How do you live this on purpose?  How does it show up in your daily life?  What is one simple action I can take every day?  Create momentum and take ONE small action. The results compound themselves. How can I be 1% better today?  Erase your challenges.

Share it with others.  Ask for help.  You need someone who is great where you are weak.

The only thing that stands between you and your dreams are the conversations you aren't willing to have.

It doesn't matter where you work but how you work.  You are solving problems for others.  Help them make their/your life better.  You can do this and make money.  Business is solving problems for profit.  Create and don't settle.  Chose what you want to learn and pursue that.  Take full accountability with learning.  The real game of life is learning how to live life...well...and to learn how to learn.  Sales is nothing more than leading them to what they want.  Sales is something each of us do.

Marketing. Sales. System.  Live in the space of certainty.

What is your why that drives you?  Why is it worthy?  If your why is strong enough, you can overcome anything.  Why is that important to you?  I want to be/see a man/woman who lives and talks what he/she believes.  What is your why?  What is going to motivate you to push through?

Video: 212*
1* separates the good from the great.  It's your life.  Attitude. Kindness.  Belief.  Focus.  Perseverance.

What will push you another degree?  If your dreams are important to you, you need to have a support system.  Have the accountability to take you through with the tools to live your dreams, to move forward.  Less than 5% of people will.

The Mindset creates The Skillset

All your goals and achievements come from clarity...build new patterns...create a new subconscious belief(s).  Release the scarcity...gain unlimited confidence.  Rewrite your story.

Video:  Why do we need coaches?
Your attitude is just like your heart.  Keep moving.  Give your very best.  Don't quit.  It's not too hard.  Don't quit on me.  If you can walk around defeated so will we.  Count me in.

On a scale of 1 to 10, are you committed to getting results?  If you are committed, at a level 10...you will find a way to be resourceful.  How committed are you?  Until one is committed, there is hesitancy to hold back.

Two Things:
1. Better Story
2.  Create in alignment with Natural Law

Video:  Make a Plan, Believe in Yourself, Follow Through
You feel discomfort when its against natural law.

To create Well Being
1.  Body
Our total internal processes start in our body.  Slow it down.  This leads to addiction if kept ramped up.  Learn how to turn it all the way on and all the way off.  Learn how to feed it.  It will regenerate itself.  Learn to rest it. Learn to move it.  Resistance creates strength.

2.  Mind
Eliminate shame.  Slow the chatter.  Replace it with what you want.  Shift your focus.  Resistance creates fear.  The 4 Patterns of Self Sabotage are very prevalent in our mind.  We must be willing to replace.

3.  Spirit
Learn to get still.  Be still and know that I am God.  We get intuition this way.

4.  Stress Management
Stress creates a strain on our nervous system.  Then we crave adrenaline.  We wake up and experience fight of flight encounters.  We then face the stresses of the day.  We experience a crash...need for more caffeine.  We rush home very exhausted from our day.  When then want more adrenaline.  You need activity and then rest.  Sleep.  Meditation.  This releases the stress on the nervous system.  Choose to effective reduce your stress or continue your addiction.

We have a tendency to over complicate things.  It has to be simple.  Something you can do consistently every day...even on your worst day.

Affirmations to refocus and reinforce the statements.

At each meditation, approach as a new experience for the first time.  No distractions.  Don't make it wrong.  Let it happen as it happens.  You are unlocking what's in your brain.  Don't do it for hours and hours...we can't handle it, the results from what we learn.  It allows us to listen to the chaos and noise.

Meditation Process:
Close your eyes.  Take a few breaths.  Whatever is going on in your mind will come out.  Don't make it perfect.  It's not wrong.  Effortlessly switch your focus.  Don't fight just bring yourself back.  Your brain knows what to do with this.

The Art of Surrender:  Want it to go away?  Don't care if it does.

You will develop more space when you slow down.  When you give yourself something to think about you release the other clutter going on in your mind.

Brain Change:
30 Days to develop a new Neural Pathway
90 Days to develop a new Primary Pathway

Your plan has to be in alignment with these.

Water, Weed, Repeat
reinforce to change faster and let go of what you can't control and keep what you can...purposely create the skills

The Natural Law of Money = increase the value of what you bring to the table and/or increase quantity (the law of exchange)

Exercise with an Arrow
The arrow is the metaphor of the fears that are holding you back.  How has this fear held you back?

Top 3 Nuggets:
#1 You will forget who you are. You will have to remind yourself. Live in alignment in the truth.

My Journal Nuggets from Day 2 of LiveBIG

Gerald Rogers
Be still.  We spend too much time rushing.  It's all a mirage to create more...to do more...to be more.

You are love.  You are peace.  You are enough.  You are joy.  You are gratitude.  Be in the peace of this stillness, in this moment, fully present.  When you are fully present there is no stress, lack, fear, need for more.  Only peace, love, happiness.  This gift is always available to you but can't be found by tracing the mirage.  Have full gratitude for the gift of the present.  Be content with what you have.  Rejoice in the way things are.  When you realize nothing is lacking...the world belongs to you.

You have everything you need to be whole.  You are not broken.  The space of pure gratitude (not of fear or lack or not good enough) is success.

I am a Miracle.  Powerful.  Unlimited.  Joyful.  Creative.  Joy.  Abundance.  Possibility.  Excitement. Gratitude.  Passion of your Sacred Self.

Live in alignment with the truth.  You will forget who you are.  You will have to remind yourself.  Don't get frustrated with yourself.  Remind yourself create your tools to reprogram yourself.  Have courage to be open, authentic, loving.

Marci Lock
The power is in the present moment right now.  How do I move thru?

There is no judgement in attachment.  I am who I am.  If I live out anything else then who I am, I am living a mask which is a slap in the face to God.

You are perfect now.  You have everything in you.  You get to create, pursue, believe what you deserve.  You can't be forced.  You have to chose.  If you want to experience life is hard, you can.  If you want to be awesome, you can.  You get to chose what you think about yourself.

Tools:  You are perfect.  Everything exists out of Fear or Love.  Love creates everything.  Fear creates limit and more fear.

Fear = False Evidence Appearing Real

What if you learn to love everything you were taught to fear?

Everything is just feedback.  Whatever you think and believe you can achieve.  You will feel what you tell yourself.  Whatever you think or focus on you will experience.  What do I want to experience?  The fit of feedback helps you figure out what is working or not working to create improvement.  I am the creator.  What works?  Chose not to live in this story.  Take ownership.

It starts with a Thought.  Thought leads to Emotion.  Emotion leads to Perceptions/Behaviors.  Perceptions/Behaviors leads to Beliefs.

You believe 80% what you tell yourself...and only 20% what someone else tells you about yourself.  You either stop yourself or give into the emotion.  Pain is an action signal...when you feel fear, defense, a trigger created as a comfort zone.  Everything you want is just outside that comfort zone.  Listen to your ation signals.  When you are feeling only emotions that are not what you want to feel look at your action signal(s).  Clarity gives you the perspective to move forward.  You are the creator of your life and so when you realize that you have self revelation/self awareness...catch yourself in action to sabotage or a feeling that comes over you...move through it once you analyze.

Action Signal:
1.  Awareness Feeling
2.  Why?
3.  What do I want?
4.  Perceive/Believe (NOW by taking action to change)
5.  Vibe Changer

Always get around to a solution.  Communicate authentically with what is going on.  This brings clarity.  Take ownership not a blame game which gives more negative feelings.  Ask the right questions to find the right solutions (to take action).  What just came up for you?  Ask for what you want!

Be open to everything, attached to nothing.  Be in peace and flow.  Create balance.  Motion creates emotions.

We are living in the story of someday which really means never.

Everything shows up in your inner self worth.  What message are you telling the world?  What am I feeling?  What do I want to feel?  How do I give myself the feeling I want?

The Story you tell yourself...
Love yourself enough.  Fill you up.  1st.  Be in LOVE with you!!!

Garden Hose Example

Everything is as easy or as hard as you want to make it.

Challenge:
Look in the mirror.  Be present.  Look yourself in the eyes.  You will never lose love if you love yourself.  I Love You!

Give yourself success.  Look for success (not failure).  Celebrate success.

Tony Litster
How do we sabotage ourselves?  Why do we self sabotage?

We sabotage ourselves through four patterns that are automatic, not consciously thorught through:

  • Core Emotional Self Image
  • Inner Dialogue
  • Fears
  • Addictions
These create triggers based on emotions that dig you deeper into your fears that make you hide and want to escape.  Unexamined patterns will run us...when these moments happen at your worst, you can do it at your worst.

Go to a place of self acceptance.  I Love and Accept Myself.  Examine without shame.  What do I want?  Create steps for new fruit.  Do you let the cycle run itself out of control like a whirlwind or do you let it move you?  Don't rationalize it.  Create connectedness with your crap.  Know this is your pattern.  Got back to focusing on creating new patterns.  Create affirmations.

{I asked Tony a question about how do you examine without shame.  I will share more about this in my personal journey at LiveBIG.}

Gerald Rogers
None of this matters if you don't lay a new foundation.  Instill new results.  It will be hard because you have all these past experiences.  You will get results.  Your mind is fighting to make your story true.  You achieve your goals all the time.

Be a conscious creator.  A divine authentic self.  Live your purpose.  Be. See. Live.

Things you don't want to happen in your life...happen.  :)

Video:  Escalator

At some point in your life you were trained to be a reactor.  That's why we get stuck.  It affects you in every aspect of your life.  Be aware of how you are showing up.  The more you are aware, the more energy and power you will have.  There is no power in being a victim.

Your outer results will be a reflection of your interior beliefs.  You will create the reality.  Beliefs lead to Reality.

In seasons of change the learners will inherit the earth.  While the learned will find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists.

Have stories and beliefs that support you.  The perfection of imperfection.  In the mess we find meaning.  In meaning we find happiness.  Create your journey.  Have a vision of what's possible.

What do you want?  Dream.

Exercise:
Create a list of what I want.
One one side put the reason.  On the other put the antidote.

You can have reasons or results but you can't have both!

Its Your Story!!!

Exercise:
Create a list of reasons why I can't have this.

There are default ways of seeing or believing.  These are created by the time you are 5 years old.  Ever if the pathway is leading to a destination I don't want, its still a pattern.  See a possibility to visit a new place.  Your mind will always be drawn t what you know.  Be conscious about creating, believing, and focusing on your new path.  You have a whole list of excuses or reasons to validate your lies.  Challenge your lies.  What is the truth that will empower me?  Find the belief that works for you.

Exercise:
What is the truth?

When you align yourself to truth you create power.  Own the truth.  You are a powerful creator.  Create an antidote.  Just ask is that really true?  Challenge it.

Gerald Rogers
We listen through faulty filters...our own limiting beliefs.  This means you can't hear clearly the empowering belief.  We all have rules in our lives when this happens...then I am happy.  Those rules create a barrier for our happiness.  What rules have you created that aren't working in your life?  What rules are not allowing you to feel and be loved?  Create new powerful beliefs.

Tony Litster
Self Acceptance is the first step to be a pivotal game changer.  We then see the fruits we want.  If you want the harvest you have to do the work...you get to try again next years harvest.

Two Options:
Conditional Acceptance = once I get my stuff together I can be okay with me
Total Acceptance = I have rules in place to accept myself as I am now

Well Being is in between these two experiences...is natural law...this is how we get Well Being to be balance.  Are you out of alignment with natural law?  Anchor in a belief that serves you.  Accept yourself because of your worth.  Somehow Everyone Xists.  (Yes that is how he put it up there because it spells his favorite word).  The variables are astonishing.  Perfectly timed.  We value things because of scarcity.   My existence is worth celebrating.  I am a miracle.  I am a soul that has light and worth.

Marci Lock
Retrain your mind to not see the problem.  There is a huge benefit in small changes.  Get clear on the beliefs behind the behaviors.  Your body is your BEST enemy!  Even healthy food can work against you if your body can't absorb it.  Understand your body.  It is as easy or as hard as you want it to be.  What your doing by fighting is hard.

Mind. Body.  Abundant Life.

Do not burn muscle.  Working out before you eat burns muscle.  Supplements are required.  Ground should have 90 minerals but currently has 3.  Give it what it needs and it will build 66% more muscle.  Your Body is worth it...if you believe it.  Eat protein in the evening before bed helps build muscle at night.  Diets create fat storage.  If you can't do it for life you won't continue it.  Look at your lifestyle.  Sugar is an addiction.

Change from I don't have to, to I get to!  When the ego mind is forced it resists.  You never have to.  Its a choice!  If you see more pleasure in change you won't just see the pain and you will be more effective in the change.  Most of what we are taught is incorrect or we are not told anything.

Tony & Bri Litster
Muscle burns, tears and rebuilds.  Just like our life.

Rules of Relationships by modeling (parents, MTV, ChickFlix, Disney, Porn, Religion, Friends, Media) = zero...fantasy...a delusion.  How many people have a true loving and meaningful relationship?  The average relationship thrives for 18 months.

You need skills.  You have to study the skills.

Guys think about sex every 7 seconds...woman every 3-4 days.

Wounded.  Abused.  Physical Affection can cause someone to fear.

What was your contribution to the situation?  Have your head in the game.  It takes both people to work on the relationship.  Do the work now.  You will trigger each other...its painful to change.

Relationship Tools:
Fight Fair - one person takes the blame to get the other one to shut up (don't do this)...say I know you didn't mean to hurt me.  Set your boundary and do not let the violation happen.  You fight about things that weren't even the reason for the fight.  Use your diffusing technique:  diffuse the energy and separate yourself from the fight.  Validate them for being upset but ask to discuss rationally.  When you feel you are being attacked, you have to pull back.  The other person is not your enemy even if they are triggering something.

Woman were created to be selective with who they mated with.  They might not be able to support themselves.  Woman are designed to say no.  To engage a woman you need to let her talk about what is going on in her world.  She doesn't want you to fix it.  Guys stay away from the bulls eye.  Stimulate her mind.  Pick a time when she can unwind.  The touch needs to be gentle...a comforting touch.  Then pull away.  It will create desire.  Be alluring and attracting.  Tease if there is a reward.  Tease & Please.

Allow your man to be your man.  Make him feel he is the super studdish man.

Don't create a feeling that you want something.  You need her to emerge as a flower.  Honor her.  Create safety.  You can influence the romance of your relationship.

We each have our crap.  When injured or hurt, it will send you back to your camp.  Elaborate on your feelings.  What did it say about you?  I need you to never, never, never...  I need you to always, always, always...  Repeat back what they are thinking to validate their feelings.  Both people are triggered when they communicate.  If you can't honor the request, let them know and ask for something else.

Relationships are not perfect.  We can't always get them to do what we need them to do.  This allows you to get to that child that needs to be healed.  It helps understand why.  This allows you to grow.  You can't let someone love you when you don't love yourself and don't believe God loves you.

Gerald Rogers
Be easy to follow.  It's easy to be a follower.  Create momentum.  Nurture your 1st followers.  There is no movement without that 1st follower.  Show others how to follow.   Have the guts to stand up and dive in.  Each of you are a leader.

You are a child of God.  You were born to shine as children do.  Living small does not do you a favor.  Your example liberates those around.

Exercise:
I am a powerful creator.

Prayer for Day 2 of LiveBIG
