I am doing a Proverbs 31 Challenge (see post). As I read the chapter today, verse 18 caught my eye and I looked it up in a few versions:
18 She makes sure her dealings are profitable; her lamp burns late into the night. NLT
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. KJV
18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. NIV
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is profitable: Her lamp goeth not out by night. ASV
18 She perceiveth that her earning is good; her lamp goeth not out by night. Darby's
18 She sees that her marketing is of profit to her: her light does not go out by night. Bible in Basic English
18 She knows when to buy or sell, and she stays busy until late at night. CEV
My nuggets from today:
This spoke to me in several ways with operating my business. I want to reflect on this some more...more thoughts to come!

One of my friends posted this Proverbs 31 Challenge...and I am going to participate. Read the details of how all this evolved here.
1. Print off Proverbs 31:10-31.
2. Read it every day before you leave your room.
3. For 7 days (this is just to give you a start) be the Proverbs 31 Woman.
4. Record your days on your blog and use the button on the side bar. (I don't know how to do this)
5. Leave a comment at http://lifewiththeroyclan.blogspot.com/2010/11/challenge-for-us-ladies.html every day that you write your experiences and be ure to give her the link to your blog!
